CrossFit Menace is nothing like a regular gym. Not only do you get workouts that will change your appearance, energy level and overall health but you will become part of an amazing community that draws from all the incredible people that visit, live and work in this area. You may have heard of the tight knit communities created in CrossFit gyms or seen the photos your friends post about their CrossFit journey, but now it is time experience it. Our community of athletes, coaches and staff support each other in and out of the gym.

CrossFit is inclusive, and infinitely scaleable, meaning anyone can do it. Anyone! We're 100% obsessed with getting you to your next level of fitness, no matter where you start from, your age, or current level of ability or fitness. We have different levels for you, depending on your background, to help assist you in becoming the best CrossFit athlete you can be! The principal expectation at CrossFit Menace is a mastery of safety as well as proper technique, prior to increasing intensity and load. Effective coaching is incredibly important, so we at Menace are dedicated to making sure you are getting quality instruction on Form and Safety. Also, we preach preparation of your machine. Mobility, stretching and effective warm-up lead the way to every workout. Many of you who have experienced CrossFit before have often been thrust into intense workouts that likely started with a warm-up lasting a few minutes or less, and consisting of insignificant movements...and then you were instructed to possibly haphazardly "roll out" on a foam roller or ball that was provided for you. Not here..Menace athletes will be guided through a warm up and mobility preparation before each and every workout, and it will be targeted towards the areas that will be experiencing stress most during that workout. The longer you sweat in preparation, the less you bleed in battle. Period.

FIRST - Learn proper Technique and get it Consistently. THEN - We will add more Resistance as well as Intensity!

At CrossFit Menace, you will exude VIRTUOSITY. This is What we do.

So what does all this equate to? Well, at CrossFit Menace don't expect to find rows of stationary bikes, treadmills, or weight machines. Instead you will find pull-up bars, kettlebells, barbells, boxes, and wide open space for squatting, running, jumping, climbing, lifting and throwing. You'll be using your body the way it is meant to be moved. It means that all your workouts will be comprised of exercises that mimic movements performed in day-to-day life or sport. You would never bicep curl your child to pick them up, or stop a falling box by spinning around and using a reverse hamstring leg lift to catch it... so why would you do it in the gym? We'll focus on improving the functional movements that are necessary and common in your daily activities. Some facilities are caving to the standard gym crowd and filling space with stationary bikes and "rugged" looking treadmills. You won't find that here...we do it old-school...traditional raw CrossFit. The kind of workouts that made CrossFit the worldwide, ultra-effective powerhouse it is today. At Menace you'll find only Steel, Wood, Stone, Sand, Plastic, Rubber, Leather, Rowers and Adrenaline...and that's precisely all you'll need.

It also means that you will never get bored. With our constantly varied programming you will rarely do the same workout twice in any given year. You will never have to program your own workouts or spend hours in the gym. Instead, each day a workout will be provided for you that is scaleable to suit your fitness level, and your Coaches will be more than happy to help you dial that in if needed. Our workouts are rarely longer than 40-60 minutes, so they easily fit into even the busiest schedules. 

Listen, This isn't the 1950's anymore...you're physical and mental health, and biological adaptability, should be at the forefront of your focus. Thanks to evolution and quality medicine we, as a species, are living much longer. But the quality of that extra time has not improved at all, because we aren't preparing for it ahead of time. At Menace Our program can prepare your body for a LIFETIME of activity. Look amazing and live an incredibly aggressive and effective, productive life. Stick with CrossFit and you'll be living independently and picking up your great-grandchildren, well into your nineties. And we mean stick with CrossFit ANYWHERE. Here at Menace, we aren't greedy...we just want to see you become a part of our sport. So if you're reading this but unfortunately live so far from us that you cannot make Menace your home box, we are disappointed, but we understand, so go compare some CrossFit facilities local to you and choose the one you think does the best work, and has your best interests in mind... and start NOW.
